How to make a hairstyle with pencils?

Most women love to wear short hairstyles as they are easy to wear and require less maintenance. If your hair are short i.e upto shoulder level, you may try a unique hairstyle that requires only a couple of pencils. The style will make your appearance very chic within just a few minutes. To put on the hairstyle, first of all, detangle your hair with the help of a comb. Then, pull all the hair backwards as if you are going to make a pigtail or ponytail.

Next, hold the ponytail with one hand (either right or left). Now, use your other hand to place the pencil at the bottom of the lock of hair. Thereby, slide this hand downwards slightly but make sure you are still holding the hair together. Lift the hand together with hair slightly upwards and then roll the pencil clockwise while you are still holding the hair. You should not twist the hair very tightly otherwise a few hair may pull out or break. After you have twisted the hair, pass the pencil through the end of the ponytail to get your new look. You may also use accessories like sparkly barrettes to make the style more beautiful.

Five Steps to Becoming a Professional Makeup Artist

To become a makeup professional requires training. It is not simply a matter of buying cosmetics, putting a kit together and goes about putting make up on peoples faces. Makeup Artist must be knowledgeable as well as experienced.

Enrolling in reputable training course that not only teaches the basics, but allows you to focus on the type of artistry you want to pursue- as different fields require specific skills. You cant do the same type of make up on a blushing bride as you would a monster bride in a horror film!

You should also take cosmetology courses and obtain a license for this field. This will allow you to offer a wider range of services to your clients.

Find a job with a cosmetics companys retail center. Look for one that focuses on training rather than solely on sales. This type of job will help you to not only gain experience, but keep you updated on trends and popular products. Plus you will have a great way to gain a clientele base.

Apprentice yourself out to established make up professionals. Offer to be assistant at large local events, weddings or even local production sets. Volunteer for your community or school theater.

Practice not only makes perfect, but it gets your name out there!
